Gloria Gemma & Real Rhode Islander

Curves is proud to be a sponsor for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation and the 1st annual Real Rhode Islander!

The Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resourse Foundation-                                                          We were honored and proud to be part of the 3rd annual Flames of Hope Waterfire that was held in Providence on October 11, 2008.  "It was so moving and uplifting to be part of the Torch Parade to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month." said Jenn Lemme, our co-op president.  Please visit www.gloriagemma.org for more information on this wonderful organization.

Real Rhode Islander-                                                                                                                          The Rhode Island Curves Co-Op sponsored Ashley Flynn and Steve Capaldi for the Real Rhode Islander Calendar.  Look for the now famous "Curves Jump" October 2009.  (Breast Cancer Awareness month!)

A Real Rhode Islander is "An extraordinary person who lives in the Ocean State, who portrays success, has a positive impact on the community, and is beautiful inside and out."  The Real Rhode Islander calendar will feature thirty Ocean State residents (15 men & 15 women) between the ages of 21 and 60 with a very generous portion of the net sales from these calendars donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation.

Stop by one of our clubs to purchase the calendars for $19.99.  Log on to www.realrhodeislander.com for more information and to check out all the winners.  All proceeds go to the Gloria Gemma Foundation.
